Some people like to take a relaxing cruise holiday, take advantage of the spa, read a book by the pool and re-charge their batteries, were as others love an adventure! When at the Falmouth, Jamaica port there are many tours you can book if you don’t want to enjoy the usual tours of relaxing at a beach or shopping. There is the ‘Rio Bueno Tubing Safari and Falls’.
- Short hike through the rainforest along the river bank
- You will then start your river tubing adventure downstream
- Halfway through your tubing adventure you will stop under bamboo trees were you can swim in the Placid River Pool, swing on the ropes or take a cliff jump
- When you are ready to get back into your tube the current will take you on a beautiful downstream route were you can take in your surroundings to the Caribbean sea were you will end your tubing experience in ‘Bengal Bay’.
- Enjoy the Bengal Bay beach, go for a swim and have a drink at the Bamboo Bar.
- Sightseeing drive to the ‘Ocho Rios Dunns River Falls’
- An experienced guide will lead the climb up the 600 foot water fall, if you don’t want to climb to the very top you can enjoy one of the many fresh water pools.

If you’re looking for more of a Jamaican Adventure then you there is the ‘Mystic Mountain Adventure’
- After being collected from the cruise ship, you will be taken to the Sky Explorer chairlift for a 15 minute ride through the gorgeous Jamaican Canopy. The Sky Explorer is said to be quite thrilling and scary, and waiting are many different electrifying adventures for more excitement.
- You will then be taken to a 1900’s Jamaican Railway Station where you can try the tropical version of the Olympics Bobsled sport down the gravity driven 3,280 feet plunge filled with twists and turns, there is an in-sled handbrake so you can control your speed. The Bobsled will go up to 40 miles per hour so you thrill seekers can test your stomachs! And those looking for a slower paced ride can use your handbrake. Once at the bottom you will be slowly taken back to the station by an elevated tramway for you to either get off or go down again.
- Get on the water slide which will take you into the blue waters of the infinity pool.

When at the Cozumel, Mexico ports there are many tours/activities to enjoy in this Caribbean port. If you’re looking for a shorter activity that will still give you a thrill and something to remember then why not try Parasailing.
