A good vacation will have a variety of places to see. A short vacation will unfortunately limit how many destinations you can have on your itinerary. However, you can have the best of both worlds by deciding to have a deep, emotional experience looking at Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa and other magnificent pieces of art at the Louvre before following that up with an awesome, exhilarating time at Disneyland Paris.
The Louvre is not only the world’s most visited art museum, but it is a deeply moving experience to walk through its halls and look upon the thousands of pieces of art on display here. Imagining what the artist was thinking and feeling while the art was being made is an emotional experience that is best had at the Louvre.
The Mona Lisa is a painting that is perhaps the best known in the world. It was painted around 1505 and is permanently on display at the Louvre. Staring at the half-length painting and trying to determine what the woman is expressing is something that people have being doing for centuries. Visitors often head here first after purchasing Louvre tickets and entering the facility.
The Louvre is so full of incredible pieces of art that you could easily spend a week looking at it all. However, if you want to simply view the vast majority of the pieces of art while quickly walking by, the entire collection may be viewed in a day. It all depends on how in depth you want your artistic experience to be and how much time you have to devote to the museum.
For a complete change of pace, a trip to Disneyland Paris fits the bill perfectly. This is a place where you can go and revisit your childhood spent watching Disney cartoons and movies. Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse will be signing autographs and are available for hugs. You may even be able to share your breakfast experience with Disney characters.
Thrill seekers will want to head straight for the rides, however. The best options for those seeking as exhilarating a ride as possible include the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril, Space Mountain: Mission 2 and Star Tours. Those looking for a more relaxing, yet still very fun ride, will enjoy heading for the Disneyland Railroad or Pirates of the Caribbean after using their Disneyland Paris tickets.
Production Courtyard is a destination for those looking to be entertained. CinéMagique is a theatre production with live actors interacting with filmed scenes. Stitch Encounter allows visitors to have a discussion with Stitch from “Lilo& Stitch.” The Studio Tram Tour: Behind the Magic is a fun experience in which riders are driven around the movie sets. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror takes visitors riding an elevator into the twilight zone.
